I have some very exciting news to share with you. Recently, I attended a medical conference in Tampa sponsored by the American Board of Integrated and Holistic Medicine.
Those of you who know me well know that I am always open minded to new technologies to use in my office that can add diagnostic and therapeutic benefits for my patients.
During this conference, I learned about a treatment tool unlike anything I have seen before. It's called Neurofeedback.
It involves the retraining of brainwaves. Neurofeedback has been very successful in helping people with ADHD, autism, anxiety, addiction/substance abuse, OCD, learning disabilities, insomnia/sleep disorders, depression, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, fibromyalgia head injuries, memory loss, migraines, and many other neurobehavioral issues. Groups like NASA, the Navy, Olympic teams and professional sports teams frequently use neurofeedback to help their people achieve excellence. It's important to note that Neurofeedbackdoes not specifically target any one disorder. Instead, Neurofeedback changes timing and activation patterns in the brain. The goal is to slowly guide your brain back into normal healthy ranges and reconnect neural pathways that have been disconnected. The result is an improvement in brain regulation, which in turn impacts a variety of symptoms.
Neurofeedback is fun. First a brain map will be generated.
This takes about 20 minutes. Next, a treatment protocol will be created, based on your brain map, and designed just for you.
Treatment sessions last for thirty minutes and involve wearing photostimulation glasses, EEG leads and headphones while you watch a DVD movie. You will retrain your brain during this passive and carefree process! A total of 20 sessions are required to see a permanent change in your brainwaves which translates into improvement in your symptoms.
Because you are already one of my patients, you are eligible to try neurofeedback at 30% off. The first 20 people who call and sign up are able to receive this discount. Call now to book your appointment or feel free to talk to me more about the Neurofeedback system on the phone or in the office. I am proud to be among the first offices in Westchester to offer this life changing technology.

And as always, I will continue to offer you the latest most advanced treatments that are available.
Yours in health,
Dr. Laurence Miller
